Project
State Library Victoria
Art & Culture · Melbourne CBD
Overview
A landmark heritage project where considered design, craftsmanship and precision come together to preserve and enhance an iconic Melbourne institution.
LL Installations delivered bespoke joinery throughout the Victorian State Library, contributing to the restoration and transformation of one of Melbourne’s most significant architectural landmarks.
Working across the library’s heritage interiors and contemporary spaces, our team delivered detailed timber joinery, feature screening and architectural elements designed to complement the building’s original character while meeting the demands of a modern public environment.
Precision was critical across every element, from fine timber detailing and integrated shelving to the intricate screening and feature joinery throughout the spaces. Each piece was manufactured and installed with care, ensuring the new work sat seamlessly within the library’s historic architecture.
The result balances heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary function, delivered to the standard expected of one of Victoria’s most iconic public buildings.
